About the job

Health, Safety and Environment Engineer will ensure that all occupational health and safety standards are followed and that adherence to environmental laws is maintained. HSE Engineer devise safety plans, monitor practices to ensure compliance, write up safety policies and procedures, and respond to emergencies as needed.  This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Forming labor safety service and keeping directions on the territory of the company.
• Developing processes in the sphere of activity.
• Keeping directions of labor safety in all spheres of the company’s activities.
• Checking in production, documentation, participating in performing necessary actions.
• Keeping fire safety rules on the firm's territory.
• Registering and providing fire equipment.
• Checking the use of obligatory equipment in some spheres of activities.
• Preparing protocols about accidents.
• Holding instructions for employees on labor safety.
• Reporting on labor safety.
• Performing responsibilities with exact following of demands indicated in instructions.
• Keeping rules of safety, labor safety.
• Following document modifications in the production sphere.
• Collaboration while preparing for audits.
• Tasks on planning.
• Training of new employees.
• Communicative responsibilities.
• Following the demands of documentation for ecological guidance.
• To work actively to maintain and improve the environmental management standard ISO 14001 and occupational health and safety ISO 45001.
• To work actively on maintaining and improving energy efficiency in the company and the requirements of the ISO 50001 standard. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or environmental, health and safety discipline. 
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar position. 
• Communication skills 
• Conflict Management 
• Teamwork 
• Critical Thinking 
• Fluent knowledge of English 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in engineering or environmental, health and safety discipline. 
• 3+ years of professional experience in a comparable engineering position of a global automotive company. 
• Familiar with Root cause analysis, 8D report, 5W, Ishikawa. 
• Strong knowledge in MS Office package, EASE knowledge preferred.
