FINANCIAL ANALYST

IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY 

The Accountant role is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on key accounting and finance initiatives and advance your career by quickly gaining experience in a variety of accounting areas. You will work in a collaborative team environment and be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and analysis of the balances and activity and will have the opportunity to bring new ideas for process improvement. Also, the Accountant role will routinely interact with other functions and global locations. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare journal entries, reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month and quarter end close activities.
• Process vendor invoices (posting, payment run etc.).
• Posting of banks statements.
• Process petty cash.
• Provide ad hoc support for projects and transactions.
• Participate in identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities.
• Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide analyses and audit documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset and commitment to self-development.
• Collaborative team player who fosters positive and effective working relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to independently organize meetings and clearly present ideas to individuals or groups.
• Highly motivated self-starter with enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA certification is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a large, multinational organization is an advantage.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and ERP systems, with SAP experience considered a plus.
