Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner

Impact and Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to assigned Corporate Functions while providing HR leadership and support for Gentherm's Corporate Headquarters. This role partners closely with executive leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to drive talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance. 

Operating within a global, matrixed environment, the Senior Manager HRBP acts as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting organizational growth through talent management, change leadership, and execution of key HR programs.  Approximately 75% of the role is focused on HR Business Partner responsibilities working closely with the C-Suite and senior leaders and 25% on supporting the employee experience and HR operations at Corporate Headquarters. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute talent strategies aligned with business objectives. 
  • Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and talent development. 
  • Lead execution of core HR processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, annual compensation planning, and workforce planning. 
  • Leverage workforce data and insights to identify trends and drive actions that improve engagement, retention, and organizational performance. 
  • Support organizational design, change management, and business transformation initiatives. 
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, learning and development, and other HR initiatives. 
  • Foster an engaging, inclusive, and high-performing culture across assigned client groups. 
  • Provide HR leadership and support for Corporate Headquarters, including employee engagement initiatives, policy guidance, and site-specific HR needs. 
  • Manage key performance indicators, reporting (headcount, turnover, budget,  etc). 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute talent strategies aligned with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred 
  • Global Automotive industry experience  
  • Knowledge of HCM – Success Factors
