Senior Treasury Analyst

 

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

 

This position will contribute to the success of Gentherm by assisting the treasury department with global insurance policies and commodity risk management, managing administrative functions with bank accounts and cash position and coordination with tax and accounting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Coordinate with third party insurance broker to provide renewal data for the US and foreign locations as well as manage certificate of insurance requests
  • Manage cash positions and online banking functions for North American entities
  • Assist with and serve as primary back up function for other foreign location cash management in conjunction with German colleagues to ensure coverage after European working hours
  • Prepare commodity and currency risk exposure analysis to support hedging decisions and coordinate with accounting to ensure proper hedge accounting treatment
  • Prepare foreign bank accounting filing forms for corporate and select individuals
  • Coordinate with accounts payable and accounts receivable in US to forecast cash flows
  • Prepare US GAAP reporting and related calculations for Treasury items (debt, hedging, etc).

QUALIFICATIONS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Three to five years of relevant treasury/finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, business or economics preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Proactive, clear communication skills with tax team and local finance teams
  • Detail oriented and strong analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Master’s degree in treasury, CTP, or other relevant certification
  • Knowledge of SAP, tax research software, and advanced excel skills
