Senior Technical Project Manager: Digital Workplace

 

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

 

Gentherm is looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual who will serve as the Technical Project Manager for the Digital Workspace function. This is a highly visible and impactful role as our company continues to execute on our digital transformation journey and you will be directly responsible to lead multiple technical projects.

 

The successful candidate will have a variety of responsibilities including developing and maintaining roadmaps, track and report on metrics & progress to stakeholders, ensure projects are within scope & timing as well as appropriately prioritized and resourced.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop roadmaps for new and ongoing projects with an eye on resourcing of personal, projects, and technical requirements
  • Proactively and effectively communicate with key stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) on ongoing projects to ensure tasks, processes, work, etc are completed or on track as well as identify and appropriately communicate gaps, slips, and potential roadblocks
  • Actively help deliver end to end solutions – be ready to lend a hand to facilitate successful completion of initiatives
  • Assist with day-to-day reporting on ongoing programs, projects, and initiatives. Providing project-related reporting, KPIs, and metrics for multiple departments

QUALIFICATIONS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • BA in Technical or Program Management field. At least 5 year managing enterprise-wide projects from ideation to project completion. Can intelligently discuss projects that have worked on in detail.
  • Experienced managing and balancing budgets and request for proposals
  • Comfortable using Excel (pivot tables), and Microsoft Suite
  • Previous experience working within a PMO team
  • Strong attention to details, communication skills
  • Experienced problem solver
  • Proven project leadership experience, and can speak to past contributions
  • Experienced creating and managing project reports and documentation
  • Create project schedule and ensure stakeholders are operating within the project timeframe
  • Familiar with ServiceNow, MS Tools, Mobile SMTP, Network systems, and cloud technologies

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • PMP certified, Agile certified, or SCRUM certified
  • MS Project, Gantt Charts, burndown charts
  • MS Visio experience

NICE TO KNOW

 

  • TRAVEL: Up to 10%, local.
  • LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: None direct.  Approximately 6 indirect as project leader
