Senior IT Manager, PLM and Engineering Systems

 

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

 

The Senior IT Manager, PLM and Engineering Systems will be responsible to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, and leading the development of PLM programs through their entire lifecycle. Additionally, this role will also create consistent CAD/PDM/PLM approach & guidance for cross-functional needs across departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Accountable for executing and driving results on large-scale efforts or multiple smaller efforts like ematrix migration, Teamcenter upgrade etc.
  • Collaborate and co-ordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain to support the use of CAD, PLM/BOM and ERP integration
  • Lead initiative to migrate ematrix PDM to Teamcenter PLM
  • Applies project management strategies to review and translate high-level requirements into program goals and prioritized deliverables, coordinates business processes
  • Facilitate design sessions with business partners, technical leads, and others on the project team to elicit and define solutions.
  • Communicate progress, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues/risks at multiple levels.
  • Interfaces between business departments and internal as well as external service providers. Coordinates internal and external consultants, software vendors and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide robust solutions to complex problems in a timely and cost-effective manner, with proven ability to organize and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop system architecture in compliance with interface definitions and system/subsystem requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related degree
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Product Development Transformations or PLM implementations, defining strategic roadmap, and executive alignment
  • Experience with one or more PLM systems and end to end digital enablement (including CAD Tool integrations/interface, Simulation Tools, Requirements management, SAP integration)
  • Experience leading or managing teams
  • Experience with core PLM capabilities such as Bill of Material or Engineering Change Management
  • Drive best practices through documentation control policies and procedures across functions

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Experience working with Service Now, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
  • Basic problem-solving/Analytical skills Application issues, Root cause analysis, and Configuration
