Global Warranty Specialist




The Global warranty specialist is responsible for handling various warranty functions communicating to senior management and various customer communication requests. The Specialist is in touch with all aspects of the business to reduce and avoid potential warranty costs. The specialist achieves this through analysis of field issues and strong communication involving customers and internal groups. This is a highly visible role for the company allowing many future opportunities for the right candidate.



  • Create & Maintain positive relations with our customers
  • Participate in product design reviews
  • Participate in part reviews
  • Analyze warranty data for trends/risk
  • Review and implement warranty agreements
  • Analyze part returns and report to customers
  • Create global cross functional teams for better warranty integration
  • Hold Tier 1 meetings to create awareness of potential cost and quality issues
  • Review and Dispute warranty debits
  • Improve testing timing and capabilities
  • Provide global warranty region development and assistance
  • Monitor customer portals for trends
  • Communicate warranty information to Global warranty Manager





  • Warranty and policy experience
  • 5+ years automotive experience
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Familiar with OEM customer portals. (Covisent, Gart, FCA, GSAR)
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Office experience




  • Electronics experience
