Global Information Security Analyst

 

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

 

We are looking for a dynamic Global Information Security Analyst who can independently lead and deliver solutions, programs, and initiatives in the security space.  The analyst will be an integral player in Gentherm’s global information security team.  This program broadly will follow the NIST cybersecurity framework.  In addition to operational responsibilities, key initial priorities for this role will be to lead Gentherm’s vulnerability management program, the security awareness program and risk management and disaster recovery approaches. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and implement security policies, standards and guidelines.
  • Perform IT risk assessments and create remediation and/or mitigation strategies with the business owners to reduce risks.
  • Lead the information security awareness training program and perform simulated phishing campaign.
  • Implement and configure vulnerability management solution. Ensure appropriate tickets are submitted and vulnerabilities are appropriately addressed and mitigated.
  • Configure and run vulnerability scans across the global enterprise and perform threat assessments. Assist in interpreting threat assessments and working with appropriate stakeholders to address them. Work to build out comprehensive dashboards with appropriate security KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Monitor security threats, analyze vulnerability assessments, and balance security with business needs.
  • Address tickets and access requests assigned to Security Group.
  • Analyze events utilizing SIEM technology and correlating events to identify malicious behavior and activity.
OTHER CORE FUNCTIONS

 

  • Work with the IT leadership to build and manage the disaster recovery program.
  • Lead projects associated with the design, implementation and maintenance for disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Research potentially contagious files, sites, and programs. Expertly provide recommendations and risks.
  • Provide timely and adequate response to threats/alerts/incidents, including off-hour support.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, computer science or other closely-related field.
  • 2 years of related IT Security experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Industry related certifications (Security +, CISSP, CISM, CEH)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems and environments a plus.
  • Experience addressing company information IP with external parties
  • Develop security Policies and Governances
  • Exposure to Microsoft ATP, Microsoft Cloud Solutions, O365
  • Familiar with automated security patching solutions & security & compliance in Office 365.
