IT Administrator




This person will be responsible for overall management, configuration, maintenance and ongoing improvement of Gentherm’s global IT server and storage infrastructure. Provides effective IT support across all aspects of the business and will provide back up and support to other global and local IT administrators.  Responsible for the appropriate monitoring of infrastructure systems and services to ensure all aspects meet SLAs and business needs. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.



  • Drive the migration from on prem infrastructure to the cloud
  • Responsible for implementation, maintenance and monitoring of cloud services to maximize uptime and other performance metrics.
  • Design, implement and manage enterprise scale Microsoft technologies such as M365, Windows Server and Client, Active Directory, GPO and other policies.
  • Collaborate with global & local system administrators to support and enhance the existing IT infrastructure.
  • Create and update necessary documentation as it relates to designs, process diagrams, inventories, etc.
  • Proactively monitor the IT infrastructure to identify areas of concern and develop action plans to address them.
  • Work closely with management to establish and deliver consistent technical direction and report on IT infrastructure performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and use new ideas and technologies to meet business objectives.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, assistance, and support to customers with IT related matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • On-call, after-hours support will be required as needed.




  • Bachelor's degree (B. A., B. S.) from four-year college or university and 3 years of position related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • MS Azure & Cloud technology’s
    • Windows Servers

  • Veeam Backup
  • Network concepts
  • Storage system concepts
  • Advanced Troubleshooting
