Finance Manager, FP&A NA

 

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

 

The FP&A Manager will impact the organization by affectively delivering financial details and concepts to key stakeholders. This person will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to promote strategic decision making, focusing on delivering results. They will own reporting and analysis tied to the company’s income statement, communicating key drivers of results to leadership and accurately forecasting future performance. They will partner with assigned functional leaders to develop operational and capital expense budgets and ensure adherence to said budgets. This person will have the ability to influence decision making by using tangible data, combined with key metrics to deliver strong performance results. This person excels in a fast-paced environment and consistently performs under pressure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Create and streamline financial planning and analysis processes across functions within NA Region.
  • Build scalable annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for assigned functions, while meeting Corporate FP&A requirements and timelines
  • Own MD&A reporting, analyzing quarterly results and identifying key drivers of performance for management to communicate to shareholders in the company’s quarterly earnings.
  • Drive and design monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages that provide key insights to drive relevant business decisions and actions
  • Lead capital expenditures forecasting, budgeting, and reporting with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Support Executive Director NA Finance and SVP NA Region in creating financial presentations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strategic projects are aligned with the organizational priorities and to help drive the process for prioritization and rationalization
  • Promote financial literacy and support the business with more accountability and visibility with a focus on results and profitability
  • Provide necessary analytics to highlight key business performance drivers; Identifying risks and opportunities throughout the quarter and help develop processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities
  • Proactively partnering with leadership at all levels to align financial targets and provide analytical support and financial guidance to help with various business decisions.
  • Confidence to make informed decisions in a timely manner and take lead to solve problems when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Financial Manager / Analyst in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with financial reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial documents and reports
  • Ability to effectively plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments while utilizing problem solving techniques when necessary
  • Maintain effective working relationships with others, especially multicultural teams
  • Must demonstrate high ethical and professional standards including maintaining confidentiality of privileged company information

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Prior management experience a plus
