FP&A ANALYST

 

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

 

The FP&A Analyst will play an integral role in providing Corporate and Global Business Unit management with financial analysis to make strategic decisions impacting the financial performance of the organization. This individual will be responsible for a variety of FP&A functions, including but not limited to budget management of OPEX, creating financial modeling, supporting functional planning and forecasting processes, and developing monthly variance analysis. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis and will provide frequent exposure to senior leadership. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and consistently performs under pressure.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget and rolling forecasts
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models to aid in decision making
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard / ad-hoc reports and Excel dashboards
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, variance analysis
  • Prepare financial reporting for both Operational & Capital expenditures across multiple functions and business units within the organization
  • Support in the creation of executive PowerPoints for senior leadership
  • Work closely with other functions in the organization to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or closely related field
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques, reporting, and the ability to analyze financial statements effectively
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Good business acumen

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA/Masters preferred
  • Prior experience in FP&A or a similar role
  • Manufacturing/Automotive background
  • Some experience with SAP & Data Warehouse
