ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

The Associate Account Manager role is an integral support role to the Automotive CBU Sales team.  The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for providing accurate and timely communications to the internal Gentherm Sales team, managing internal reports, and contributing directly to growth targets through serving as the primary customer account manager for assigned customer(s.)  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • For assigned customer(s):
    • Assist in identifying new Sales opportunities
    • Forecast in SFBA according to Gentherm defined processes
    • Lead quotation process according to Gentherm's process together with PM and associated functions.
    • Act as "Voice of the Customer" bringing customer issues and opportunities back to the appropriate groups within Gentherm and following through to resolution
  • Build knowledge of all Gentherm technologies and products, to be able to effectively contribute to identification of new opportunities.
  • Collect, compile and manage internal Sales documentation
  • Collaborate with plant Production Planners and Customer Service Representatives, as needed, on various projects
  • Participate in internal cost reduction activities
  • Other CBU Sales support projects & activities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in multi-level team and/or matrix organization
  • Customer Account Management experience: 1-3 years.
