Advanced Engineer, Integration



As part of our Advanced Engineering User Experience (UX) group, you will play an important role in our focused growth strategy by designing, developing, and integrating exciting new thermal comfort systems. This is done by utilizing and building on our core technologies and competencies including Thermophysiology, software and electronics, simulation, thermal engines and system integration. This position will be focused on electro-mechanical integration of thermal comfort hardware systems into automotive seating and interiors to provide best in class user experience. You will be part of an outstanding technical team which is revolutionizing automotive occupant comfort and user experience, with high efficiency systems that will play a critical role in the future of automotive electrification.  


  • Co-ordinate and lead integration of new and existing thermal technology into automotive interiors for best-in-class user experience.
  • Develop system and component geometry, utilizing CAD and Simulation tools to help meet system thermal requirements.  
  • Conduct real world experiments on prototype components and systems, analyze the data and report your findings.
  • Determine best approach to solving technical issues based on data driven principles.
  • Ensure functional and safe prototypes through testing and experimentation. 
  • Provide mechanical design support to advanced development team members. 
  • Provide guidance to technicians for building demo seat and interior projects.
  • Provide direction to suppliers and external as required to achieve the required deliverables



  • Bachelor’s in engineering: Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in component level integration and testing required.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and Simulation Tools (SolidWorks Preferred)
  • Ability to create and read wiring diagrams
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data acquisition and data analysis for example: MATLAB, Excel, LabVIEW, Python, etc


  • Experience with automotive Thermal or HVAC systems.
  • Familiar with Agile Management tools such as Jira or Jazz.
  • Experience with tools like MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python
