SENIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINNER
IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY
Create capacity studies, create routings, layout update, packaging specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and document the capacity requirements by comparison of production volumes and production capacity in plant. Identify the risks and release to project team for the quote stage.
Calculate routings , tooling and capex for quote process
Create routings and preliminary process flowchart for the quote.
Analyze and define costs, capacities, equipment’s and tooling requirements.
Determine if existing production technology can be used, otherwise requirement specification for new technology to be defined.
Create final Process Flow chart and final routings.
Participate in the PPAP parts production and document in PDM. Release product to production.
Create and/or update layout, mark and delimit production floor areas. Optimize production floor.
Lead continuous improvement projects (KAIZEN) based on optimizing space, head count and/or line output.
Lead savings projects related to materiales (VAVE projects).
Create and update product packaging specifications.
Audit and update request for BOM.
Support engineering changes related to producto. Confirm feasability of the changes confirming needs from the different areas.
Lead and/or participate in layout movement and plant transfer, including re-PPAP activities such as: layout design, sampling, PFMEA update, WI updates, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
IME, II or Similar.
3-year minimum experience in engineering.
Advance English level
Standard operations.
Problem Solving.
Initiative.
Capacity Analysis
Lean Manufacturing
Development of new products.
User of Microsoft Office.
Basic knowledge in Autocad
Minimum skills in SAP are preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of IATF 16949/ ISO 14001. ISO 45001, Tisax and APQP process.
Knowledge in the study of time and motion.
Knowledge of interpretation of drawings.
