Maintenance Planner Scheduler

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Ensure effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring of maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and guarantee compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. The role will drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance trends, developing KPIs, and implementing corrective actions that strengthen operational efficiency and compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop, monitor, and update maintenance schedules for equipment, calibration, and preventive activities.
  • Support Maintenance Supervisors in planning and scheduling defined tasks.
  • Regularly develop and track KPIs, conduct root cause analysis (5W, 8D, PDCA), and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate and lead root cause analysis meetings with leaders and supervisors.
  • Validate and analyze information across different data sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Lead validation activities for new or transferred equipment.
  • Coordinate 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement events within the maintenance team.
  • Manage spare parts consumption and request processes to ensure availability and updated inventory levels.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly KPI reports and presentations for management.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and TISAX standards; support audit processes.
  • Identify training needs related to management systems and ensure timely execution.
  • Support compliance with information security, occupational health, and safety requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Core Tools and problem-solving methodologies (5W, 8D, PDCA, 5S, TPM).
  • Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and planning software.
  • Understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
  • English intermediate - advance (technical and professional level).
