FINANCIAL ANALYST I, PAYROLL
IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY
The Payroll Financial Analyst will support payroll-related budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities for the Monterrey site. This role will work closely with the local HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll cost tracking and reporting. The analyst will be responsible for delivering payroll analytics, identifying cost trends, and supporting compliance with internal processes and policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the local payroll budgeting and forecasting process in coordination with Finance and HR.

Analyze monthly payroll variances versus forecast and budget (including salary, overtime, bonuses, and other employee-related costs).

Maintain and update payroll-related master data in SAP or other internal systems.

Prepare and deliver monthly payroll reports for internal use and management reviews.

Monitor headcount movement and its financial impact.

Assist in the reconciliation of payroll accounts in collaboration with Accounting.

Ensure accuracy and consistency in employee cost allocation across cost centers.

Provide data support for audits and compensation-related reviews.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a payroll analysis, financial analysis, or accounting role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Solid understanding of payroll concepts and processes (IMSS, bonuses, vacation accruals, etc.).

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts, and report automation).

Experience with SAP, Tress, SuccessFactors, or other payroll/HR systems.

Familiarity with Mexican payroll regulations and labor cost structures.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
