BUSSINES PROCESS EXCELLENCE LEAD
IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY
Functions at a Senior Level of the organization to manage and exercise discretion over the day to day operations of the essential function and the Continuous Improvement of the Organization; Conduct and coach Lean Basic and Green Belt training and facilitate workshops to improve business processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, lead and execute the company’s continuous improvement initiatives including projects metrics and cost reduction initiatives to deliver results, including objective and target setting, measurement, monitoring, identification and escalation of roadblocks including resolution and follow up.
- Conduct and coach Lean Basic and Green Belt training.
- Coach, train, develop, and engage team members throughout the various continuous improvement initiatives including lean methodologies, six sigma, VA/VE, TPS, VSM and other relevant continuous improvement tools.
- Work closely with all department personnel and coordinate resources to develop problem identification and resolution skills and culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead and sustain CI activities by identifying champions and leaders to execute CI opportunities including manufacturing, administrative and development processes.
- Support key supplier to improve their processes by conducting Lean Sigma workshops to gain the win- win situation.
- Identifies process inefficiencies and identifies opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination and capability improvement across the supply chain, manufacturing and development processes and coordinates/facilitates activities using cross-functional resources to eliminate them.
- Drive standardization efforts including documenting processes, creating value stream maps for various workflows and implementing control plans.
- Implements, monitors, and reviews information and progress of various waste improvement projects, and procedures throughout the manufacturing operation to achieve the established goals and sustainability.
- Provide routine updates on the progress against the strategic plan to members of senior management, including proposed corrective action for any deviations from the plan
- Accountable for visual management, benchmarking and best practice culture sharing across the organization.
- Drive CI Initiatives of company; Interact with global group BPE in all regions.
- Manage and support Employees Suggestion System, and support Asia Newsletter creation
- Other issue arranged by line manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial, Engineering
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Lean Expert certification
- Good at MS office software, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Lean work experience
- Engineering work experience
- Lean/Sigma training skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial, Engineering
- Above 8 years work experience on continuous improvement management
- Good leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Creativity
- Good at teamwork
