EMC Test Engineer




The EMC Test Engineer has full responsibility for all routines related with EMC test work. The responsibilities of this position impact EMC test accreditations, efficiency, accuracy and quality.  In addition to product EMC performance and project deadlines for the customer. This position provides the opportunity to be an EMC expert with testing, design, and to continuously improve their EMC test knowledge with equipment, and standards. The EMC Test Engineer will provide excellent EMC technical services for both internal and external customers.



Test request management

  • Attend internal and external customer meetings
  • Communicate with test requestors to confirm and document technical details
  • Follow customer specifications, test standards, test plans, and DVPs
  • Verify test setup according to test procedure prior to start the test
  • Review test data and provide judgement, finalize test reports


EMC technical work

  • Present technical findings, create corrective & preventative solutions, and share EMC experience
  • Forecast test failure, perform failed test analysis, debug, and EMC test design
  • Participate in technical document preparation and updates
  • Lead interlaboratory study test execution and data collection and prepare test report
  • Initiate & implement innovation projects to improve efficiency, quality & optimize cost


Equipment management

  • Test and operate EMC test related equipment when needed
  • Provide training to new employees on equipment operation
  • Monitor equipment operation condition and submit request for equipment management
  • Assist in test equipment calibration, repairs, maintenance, and preventive action
  • Lead operation engineers to complete equipment verification


General Work:

  • Responsible for HSE, 5S, team building and other daily tasks
  • Communicate with Customer and next level Manager
  • Provide multitask to increase test capacity and improve test timing
  • Raise issues related with work efficiency and quality with solutions to next level Manager
  • Work follows flexible shifts, working under pressure, contribute to team development
  • Accomplish various responsibilities, duties and projects as assigned by next level Manager




  • Bachelors of Electronics Engineering or related engineering field
  • At least 5 years of rich experience in automotive parts’ EMC testing
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Familiar with automotive EMC tests
  • Familiar with analog circuits and ability to read circuit schematics



  • iNarte certified EMC Engineer is the best qualification.
  • ISO17025 internal auditor.
  • Capability to understand C programming language.
  • LabVIEW experience on equipment control.
  • Excel VBA experience on data analyzing and processing.
  • Python experience on measurement software development and data algorithm.
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or above.
