Regional Sales Manager, Europe

The Regional Sales Manager, Europe will lead the execution of Gentherm Medical’s commercial strategy across Europe, driving revenue growth and profitability in priority markets. This role is responsible for distributor management, regional sales planning, and new product launches while partnering closely with Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, and Global Sales leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute the European regional business plan aligned with Gentherm Medical’s global commercial strategy.
  • Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets for assigned European markets.
  • Identify adjacent markets, new customer segments, and new product opportunities to drive sustainable growth.

Distributor & Partner Management

  • Lead distributor strategy and performance management, including selection, onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
  • Negotiate, execute, and manage distribution and partnership agreements, including renewals, addendums, and terminations.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with key distributors to assess performance, address gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor distributor compliance with contractual and commercial expectations.

Product Launch & Market Development

  • Develop and execute regional launch plans for new medical products in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Regulatory teams.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop sales tools, training materials, and regional value propositions.
  • Provide product training and technical support to distributors and end users as needed.

Clinical, Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Work closely with the Clinical team on competitor analysis, KOL development, and clinical case studies.
  • Support hospital field visits to strengthen clinical relationships and product adoption.
  • Collect post-market surveillance and market feedback from distributors and customers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to support forecasting, SIOP input, and demand planning.
  • Support product registration activities by coordinating with Regulatory and providing required commercial input.
  • Monitor regional orders and partner with Operations to support on-time delivery.
  • Represent Gentherm Medical at key industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events across Europe.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Sales and/or business development experience, preferably within a regional or international scope.
  • Experience or strong knowledge of the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue through distributor-led sales models.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Prior marketing experience or strong cross-functional commercial exposure.
  • Experience supporting international product launches and market expansion.
  • Familiarity with European healthcare systems and distributor environments.

NICE TO KNOW

TRAVEL: Approximately 25% travel, including distributor support, hospital field visits, and attendance at key medical conferences and industry events.
