As an integral business partner, the Senior Accountant is a critical member of the Gentherm Medical Finance team. This person is responsible for cash metrics of the company as well as Sales Tax reporting.  This role reports to the Executive Director, Finance and works with Corporate Finance team to standardize and improve daily cash metric.


  • Support cash management, process wires, ACH’s, payment templates, etc.
  • Prepare daily/monthly/quarterly bank account reconciliations.
  • Oversee and Audit P-card and Travel expenses.
  • Analyzing Past Due Receivables and Payable for proper reserves
  • Assist with preparation of sales tax audits.
  • Assist with financial and sales tax audits.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • 5-10 years of financial (including accounting) experience supporting manufacturing
  • Operations and distribution experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Cross functional team player
  • Process minded with initiative to streamline processes

  • Six Sigma Certification; Lean foundation (six sigma, A3 process thinking)
