Title: Product Marketing Manager, Gentherm Medical (Hybrid)

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a results-oriented Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of patient temperature management Class ll medical devices. Our next PMM will develop and execute the plan to accelerate portfolio growth across key geographies and all healthcare segments but with an initial focus on the hospital OR and ICU. We are seeking someone who has the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a growth oriented, fast-moving environment. Ideal candidates will have the ability to analyze and understand market segments to identify unmet needs and opportunities for growth. We are looking for an exceptional communicator and presenter. This role reports to the SVP & General Manager, Medical.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the successful product launch for new products.
  • Collect and leverage Voice of Customer to identify new market trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to develop clinical based evidence tied to health economics.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to establish and manage new product development process (NPI) with appropriate management review. Develop implementation plans/schedules for introducing new or improved products, including new product introduction.
  • Establish global portfolio strategy and pipeline for the related product portfolio.
  • Analyze market data, market trends and develop market segmentation.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, product positioning, differentiation, and value proposition for product portfolio.
  • Work with clinical staff to identify, integrate and prioritize new product concepts and ideas for product development.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with cross-functional partners to establish and manage new product development process (NPI) with appropriate management review. Develop implementation plans/schedules for introducing new or improved products, including new product introduction.
  • Conduct field visits with customers to gather post market information.
  • Partner with production and sales on forecasting to ensure proper inventory.
  • Initiate and ensure adequate support of sales programs by establishing extensive interaction with Marketing Communication team.
  • Identify and recommend new business development opportunities for new and existing products, including analysis and interpretation of market segments, business trends and identification of customers' specific needs. 
  • Oversee the design and delivery of market/product training programs to sales organization.
  • Plan and direct the implementation of pricing strategies to ensure achievement of overall business plans.
  • Drive marketing program (best practice) replication across regions to deliver growth and/or maintain existing share.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field
  • 10+ years of successful product marketing experience
  • 3+ years of experience creating successful go-to-market strategies
  • 3+ years of successful product launch experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions
  • Intermediate skill level or above in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical device product marketing experience
  • Intermediate skill level or above in Adobe creative suite, and other marketing software packages as needed

  • 25% local, US and potential for Global
