Job Title: Product Marketing Manager, Medical Device - Gentherm Medical

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a results-oriented Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with medical device experience to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our portfolio of patient temperature management Class ll medical devices. The PMM will develop and execute the plan to accelerate growth across key geographies and all healthcare segments. We are seeking someone who can manage multiple complex projects in a growth oriented, fast-moving environment. Ideal candidates will have the ability to analyze and understand market segments to identify unmet needs and opportunities for growth. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Marketing and Communications.

The Product Marketing Manager will have the ability to launch marketing and sales initiatives for upgraded versions of established products with strong market share, increase market share for existing products, and work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, clinical and leadership to identify new product opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own development and execution of product strategy including ownership of the product pipeline, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Determine the competitive and market landscape for the portfolio, by identifying meaningful and actionable insights and trends through market analysis, customer, and competitive data; including identifying adjacencies and white spaces related to our products.
  • Own Voice of the Customer regarding the satisfaction of current products, unmet needs, and market trends.
  • Responsible for the marketing activities as part of the new product development process.
  • Partner with R&D team in the translation of customer needs into product design features and specs.
  • Partner with production and sales on forecasting to ensure proper inventory and to understand sales trends.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop product related marketing and sales enablement collateral.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Oversee the design and delivery of global market/product training programs to both internal teams, sales and distribution partners.
  • Drive marketing program best practices globally to deliver growth and/or maintain existing share.
  • Review and report on performance indicators to leadership.
     

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of product marketing/management experience.
  • 3+ Medical device or healthcare product marketing experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Successful product launch experience.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or other related field.
  • Analytical, excellent listener and communicator.
  • Flexible, adaptable, team-oriented work style.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with marketing content creation and strategy.
  • Experience with 510k submission to FDA for new medical device product launch.
