ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively communicates with fellow employees and supervisors on day to day needs and priorities.
- Creates awareness of the importance of inventory accuracy with others in the organization.
- Contributes toward maintaining inventory accuracy and control.
- Helps maintain neat and organized stock areas throughout the facilities.
- Recognizes that all warehouse activities are part of one team and contribute to the team’s success.
- Working knowledge of the documentation needed to conduct inventory transactions.
- Removes inventory from storage areas and deliver parts in a timely manner, as required.
- Completes all documentation accurately and circulate as it relates to inventory movement.
- Independently identify needs and take initiative to complete needed tasks or provide support in other areas of department.
- Performs simple math functions and accurately uses measuring instruments.
- Ability to operate the company software in areas of receiving, shipping, quality, and inventory control.
- Working knowledge and exercise of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s).
- Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck or any other equipment including RT, Manlift, LP forklift required to move material to and from trucks, or within the storage and manufacturing facilities.
- Retrieves, consolidates, packages, and ships products for customer orders per their specified routing instructions.
- Coordinates shipping priorities with manufacturing and transportation.
- Effectively operates any applicable shipping software packages.
- Inspects incoming deliveries and unload accordingly.
- Ability to perform the necessary inspections.
- Receives all incoming materials and dispatches to appropriate departments.
- Working knowledge of good storage/warehouse practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including experience with MS Office and ability to learn and become proficient with all applicable corporate software programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years of experience in related field.
- Ability to read, understand and practice, all applicable S.O.P’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and DWI’s (Departmental Work Instructions)
- Experience with working in fast paced environment to meet required deadlines.
- Willing to work overtime.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 9 hours per day
- Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
- Will exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, push or pull on a routine basis
- Will lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis
- 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on a routine basis
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; safety shoes steel toe or other ASTM standard), gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket/vest or apron and arm guards)
