IT Business Analyst




Gentherm is looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual who will serve as the local IT site leader for the Medical Division at our Cincinnati, Ohio location.  This individual will be responsible for coordinating all IT activities at the site and partnering with both Gentherm Corporate IT employees as well as external consultants to deliver IT solutions.

The individual in this role will be responsible for understanding the needs of business functions and lead the design, coordination, development and implementation of IT solutions.  This individual will also have accountability for all processes related to the validation of IT business tools and systems.

In addition, the successful candidate will have a variety of responsibilities including supporting strategic projects from start to finish including a significant ERP system upgrade.  As the primary representative of the IT function at Gentherm Medical this opportunity provides a dynamic working experience



  • Work with key stakeholders in the Medical business to define needs & priorities for digitalization and transformative initiatives.
  • Lead cross functional requirement and gap analysis sessions to identify opportunities for improvement in business processes leveraging technology. 
  • Partner with Gentherm Global IT organization to provide input to, and roll out, company wide IT initiatives at the site.
  • Serve as the onsite point of contact for ERP (currently Visual Manufacturing).  Own the enhancement backlog for ERP, CRM and other critical systems.
  • Own all Application Portfolio Management initiatives (application criticality, retirement upgrades, obsolescence efforts) for Gentherm Medical
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery (requirements definition through system delivery and go-live) of small to medium size programs for Gentherm Medical.
  • Deliver successful software validations per FDA and other regulatory authorities
  • Support IT operations at the local site, including coordination with third party and Gentherm IT resources, for end-user services management.
  • Support acquisition due diligence and integration efforts, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned





  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, closely related field
  • 3 years project lead/business analyst experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills




  • Prior medical industry experience
  • Regulatory non-product software validation experience
  • PMP Certified
  • Infor Visual ERP experience, or related ERP Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Products – notably Powerpoint, Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • MS Project



  • TRAVEL: Up to 15%, domestic and global.  Most travel will be to company headquarters in Northville, Michigan.
