Value Stream Leader
IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for ensuring adherence to the production schedule within the value stream, guaranteeing the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and cost objectives.
The primary role involves directing and coordinating production operations through Group Leaders, ensuring that processes run in a stable, safe, and efficient manner while fostering continuous improvement within the area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Management
• Coordinate and direct the work of Group Leaders to meet the production schedule.
• Ensure that value stream metrics (safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and cost) remain within established targets.
• Oversee the performance of production lines under your responsibility.
• Identify deviations in productivity, quality, or efficiency and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the proper execution of manufacturing procedures and work standards.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop Group Leaders and indirect personnel under your responsibility.
• Promote operational discipline in accordance with Internal Work Regulations.
• Ensure personnel have the necessary training to perform their duties.
• Foster a safe, professional, and respectful work environment.
Operational Coordination
• Coordinate with support areas—such as Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Human Resources—to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure the availability of materials, tools, and resources required for production.
• Maintain constant communication with your counterpart on the opposing shift to ensure operational continuity.
Process Control
• Oversee adherence to process controls, quality checks, and required documentation.
• Validate compliance with operational standards, such as:
• work instructions
• quality controls
• model changeover procedures
• SPC controls
• Ensure proper product identification and traceability.
Continuous Improvement
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the value stream.
• Analyze operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in improvement projects focused on efficiency, quality, or waste reduction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Communication skills - English level intermediate
• Teamwork
• Commitment
• Results-oriented
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, IATF 16949/ISO 45001
