INVENTORY ANALYST

Analyze inventory differences using any methodology, managing the resources at your disposal to ensure effective inventory management according to the established KPI. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate the cycle count program to ensure 100% compliance for all materials included in the defined scope.

• Analyze and correct cycle count variances.

• Freeze any variances found in cycle counts and notify the involved departments (Warehouse, Production, MRP, Materials).

• Request authorizations for system adjustments.

• Make system adjustments within 48 hours of approval.

• Participate in the coordination of physical inventories performed at the plant.

• Analyze physical inventory variances, determine root causes, and develop an action plan.

• Perform and coordinate the PDCA to assign activities that will correct inventory variance problems.

• Coordinate the implementation of activities to correct negative inventories shown by the COGI.

• Analyze variations in the COGI (Product Quality Management System).

• Verify the SCRAP adjustment process daily.

• Maintain and publish monthly charts of defined KPIs.

• Prepare the slow-moving report.

• Actively participate in physical inventory counts.

• Comply with safety regulations in all areas.

• Responsible for understanding and meeting specific client requirements with a Zero Defects goal in mind.

• Process Approach: Manages with a process approach to achieve objectives. This involves understanding, defining, and managing processes with a focus on PDCA and Prevention.

• Risk Planning and Analysis: Uses Risk-based thinking with your team and functions. This involves identifying risks, analyzing causes and consequences, assessing the level of risk, and addressing them; documenting the above as evidence of control. (Applicable to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001)

• Lifecycle perspective: Ensure environmental aspects are identified throughout the department, considering process inputs and outputs.

• Participate in and comply with the requirements of the IATF 16949 quality management system and the ISO 14001/ISO 45001 environmental management system applicable to their position. Prepare evidence of compliance and support audits.

• Authority: Stop or terminate any process that does not meet the requirements established by the organization and/or the aforementioned quality or environmental-safety management systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree.

• English level 50%. 

• Minimum 2 years of experience in materials.

• ERP management.

• Inventory control.

• Software package management (XLS, Outlook, PPT).

• Cycle counting.

• Material classification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• SAP Inventory Module Management

• IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
