HR Mgr

The Senior HR Manager will serve as the lead HR partner to site operations, reporting to the HR Director.  This position plays an integral role in enabling a positive employee experience by owning and continuously improving the operational people practices related to the full employee experience.  The Senior HR Manager is directly responsible for the daily HR operations for the site.

Functional Areas of expertise:
•    Strategic Approach with Management
•    Develop and implement operational and strategic HR practices to enable a best-in-class employee experience.
•    Union contract proposals and negotiations
•    HR Operations in Manufacturing environment

•   Employee and/or manager training and coaching.
•    Workforce planning
•    Talent Reviews, 
•    Budgets and control expenses
•    KPI Improvements
•    Organization and Compensations
•    Drives recruitment all levels  
•    Manage community relations.
•    Manage employee relations/union relationship to ensure a progressive partnership

Union and Labor Relations experience

•    Excellent writing, editing, communications, presentation and interpersonal skills. 
•    Ability to perform problem resolution and present conceptual information to all levels of stakeholders. 
•    The ability to negotiate and influence with operations, union and business stakeholders.
Team Building: 
•    Ability to build positive team spirit and work cross functionally.
•    Demonstrates project management skills.
•    Independent and organized work style.
•    Possesses a strong drive for results and translates strategic direction into concrete action steps.
•    Knowledge of the following tools:  Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Supervisory / Leadership: 
•    Problem solving capability.
•    Ability to provide guidance and coaching to team members and stakeholders.
•    Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential business and employee information.
•    A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
•    Bachelor’s degree 
•    7+ years of experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment

•    Masters Degree in HR or Business 
•    Experience with Success Factors as an HRIS
•    Knowledge on the Internal IATF 16949.
•    10+ Years experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment
