Long Description

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead and execute Continuous improvement initiatives including projects metrics and cost reduction initiatives to deliver results, Coach, and develop, other team members throughout the various continuous improvement initiatives including lean methodologies, six sigma, VA/VE, TPS, VSM and other relevant continuous improvement tools
  • Lead and sustain CI activities by identifying champions and leaders to execute CI opportunities including manufacturing, administrative and development processes
  • Drive standardization efforts including documenting processes, creating value stream maps and implementing control plans.
  • Implements, monitors, and reviews information and progress of various waste improvement projects, and procedures throughout the manufacturing operation to achieve the established goals and sustainability.
  • Provide routine updates on the progress against the strategic plan to members of senior management, including proposed corrective action for any deviations from the plan. Accountable for visual management, benchmarking and best practice culture sharing across the organization.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Professional Degree  - engineering preferably, not a must.
  • English fluid.  Experience in Continues Improvement + 3 years
  • Lean Tools, 8D Problem Solving,      IATF Quality Management Systems 16949
  • Smart Draw, Visio,  MS,   Six Sigma Black or Green Belt 
  • Core Tools -  VA/VE Analysis
