(TEMPORARY) PROCESS ENGINEER
IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY
Management of the launch of New Projects, follow-up in conjunction with the Program Managers of the corresponding APQP Phases based on the timing of the projects, purchase of tools and equipment for the new projects, management of Engineering Tests. Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Packaging Proposals and Run at Rates, revision of drawings, provide feedback of the new designs for their feasibility and Product Drawing Approval. Support for production processes, follow-up to the validation of new equipment and processes, as well as the corresponding Layout .
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of the Launch of New Projects.
- Monitoring of the Timing of New Projects in conjunction with the Program Manager.
- Purchase of Kick-Off Tooling for New Projects.
- Preparation of Capex for the purchase of equipment and machinery for New Projects.
- Preparation of Flow Charts (PFD).
- Preparation of the PFMEA in conjunction with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Preparation of Packaging Proposals.
- Preparation of the Run at Rates.
- Review of drawings and feedback of new designs for feasibility.
- Product Drawing Approval.
- Management of Engineering Tests and PPAP.
- Support for production processes.
- Validation of New Equipment and Processes and monitoring of the corresponding Layout.
- Provide Continuous Improvement Projects.
- Any other activity that the Direct Head and/or Manager of the Department deems appropriate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of experience in the automotive area
- University Degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or similar)
- Management of Computer Systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to organize and prioritize activities.
- Effective communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of PFMEA.
- Knowledge of Plan Interpretation.
- Knowledge for Project Management and APQP.
- Problem-Solving Methodologies.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
