SYSTEMS VERIFICATION ENGINEER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse requirements and decompose into logical segments in preparation of test cases design.
• Create and maintain functional test cases. Maintain test cases according to changing requirements.
• Create and maintain of Vector VT system wiring diagrams and automated Test Scripts.
• Create and maintain Software Integration and Verification test frameworks.
• Lead execution of manual/automated test cases.
• Support the development of system architecture in coordination with the HW, SW and ME design teams.
• Assist in preparation of technical documentation, generate test reports for every assigned software release.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience with development and or testing in C or C++ in automotive environment.
• 2+ years of experience with requirements management with tools such as IBM JAZZ QM or Polarion.
• Experience in Software testing using debuggers such as Lauterbach or similar.
• Demonstrated competence with scripting languages preferably Python.
• English speaking is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Working knowledge of automotive specifications for electromechanical systems is preferable
• German language skills are advantageous
• We consider ISTQB certification is a strong plus
