SYSTEMS VALIDATION TECHNICIAN

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Testing all Gentherm Pneumatic technology products;
  • Testing materials include lumbar and massage bladders, pumps, valve blocks, complete pneumatic systems; tensile, thermal chamber tests, and DAQ equipment. Execute tests and record test data according to test procedure, work instruction and test specifications to produce reliable and precise data following the test request management process;
  • Conduct functional tests on samples and record data with corresponding parameters;
  • Set up and operate the DUT, perform functional and durability testing according to test plan;
  • Lead and complete continuous improvement projects within work area to improve efficiency of test setups;
  • Conduct testing in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements adherence to internal lab procedures
  • Providing commitments to deadlines on test specific processes in the project.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a technician degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics,but we are ready to accept fresh graduates in engineering as well;
  • We prefer 2+ years of experience with requirements management, verification, issues/ tasks reporting and resolution, but if you are a junior that is also accepted;
  • Working knowledge of automotive specifications for electromechanical systems;
  • Strong organizational skills, including planning, prioritization, decision making, problem solving, and project management;
  • Support preparing complex written reports, automation wiring diagrams and other documents;
  • English skills (B2), and if you also speak German, we consider it as a plus;
  • Experience in some PLM system; and if you have practical experience with Doors, Polarion, Teamcenter is a strong advantage.
