SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT ENGINEER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elicit, analyze, and document software requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of business and technical needs.
  • Define and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability from concept to implementation and validation.
  • Work closely with product managers, software developers, testers, and UX/UI designers.
  • Create detailed functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams to guide development and testing.
  • Support testing teams by defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases, and participating in software validation activities to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Manage requirement changes by assessing their impact on the project scope, timeline, and cost

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Software Engineering
  • 5+ years of expreience in automotive engineering, and at least 2 yars of experience in requirement engineering
  • Proficient in requirements management tools (e.g. Doors, Polarion, Jira).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with defect management processes and tools.
  • English language skills
