SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER

YOUR TASKS:

• Leading and coordination of European customer projects with various customers in Hungary and in Germany;
• Manage multiple development projects and initiatives including project timelines, status reporting and execution;
• Lead and coach software engineers;
• Plan and direct activities of software engineering team including resource management and allocation to development projects with 10-12 direct reports;
• Manage resource levels using both internal and external resources to complete the planned workload;
• Local Head of Software Engineering in Hungary;
• Manage annual operating budget for headcount, tools and hardware.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science;
• 10+ years experience in developing embedded software for automotive applications with bigger ECU’s;
• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering management;
• Software development lifecycle methodologies including ASPICE and ISO-26262;
• Open to collaborate other regions (works well with peers);
• Giving and getting feedback on an effective way, collaborative approach.
