SENIOR MANAGER, GLOBAL LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a harmonized and highly competitive Supply Chain and distribution network
- Optimize total cost of ownership to drive attainment of delivery, cost, revenue, and inventory targets
- Lead transportation sourcing process to leverage the global and regional spend to achieve competitive rates, drive efficiencies, and reduce costs
- Manage logistics, warehousing, and transportation of critical materials in all locations
- Develop and maintain accurate forecast models for freight, duty, warehousing, etc.
- Support safe launch plans and product transfers
- Lead the budget process for freight, duty, warehousing, and other logistics costs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics, Business, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience of relevant Supply Chain, international logistics and transportation for production in the Automotive industry
- Multi-site global or regional experience leading a global team
- Comprehensive data analytics to identify trends and insights to make informed decisions
- Profound knowledge ERP systems including warehouse modules, technical application experience with SAP preferred
- Business fluent English communication skills
- Strong business acumen, curious, self-motivated and willing to travel as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA is a plus
- APICS Certification and/or CPIM or CPM or equivalent international certifications preferred
- Language spoken, other than English, is considered a plus
