SEAT CLIMATE SYSTEM ENGINEER
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product development in line with valid development and design standards
- Preparation of project documentation (technical drawings, 3D models, BOMs, preliminary test plans)
- Introduction of new materials and components as required; interpretation of material specifications and functions for existing materials and components in accordance with the APQP procedure; contribution to the preparation of raw material DVPs
- Preparation, joint development, supervision, and continuous improvement of DFMEAs in cooperation with other departments
- Representation of the development function at the production site during pilot and zero series builds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc or MSc degree in technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Vehicle, or Technical Management engineering)
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably gained in automotive, multinational environment
- Proven experience in serial product development
- Proficiency in technical design software with 3D planning (Autocad, Creo, CATIA)
- Strong problem solving skills, self-driven and ambitious personality
- Excellent communication skills
- English is a must, German is preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with blowers, and especially with air flows and aerodynamic environment is highly appreciated
- Knowledge of plastics industry is an advantage
- German language skills
