CAD TRAINEE

Essential functions and responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings
• Develop and improve documents, presentations
• Analyze existing designs according to given aspects
• Prepare datasets for structural and thermal simulations
• Support maintaining bill of materials
• Ensure consistent technical documentation in the data management system (PDM / PLM)

Minimum qualifications

• Ongoing studies in a relevant field (mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics engineering)
• Ready to work at least 24 hours per week and engage yourself for a year
• Interest in mechanical design and product development
• Good knowledge of a CAD system (Catia V5 preferred)
• Open minded attitude, willing to learn from peers
• High attention to details
• Good English skills (verbal and in writing form), German knowledge is a plus
