ACCOUNTANT / AR SPECIALIST
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- continuous monitoring of customer receivables for EMEA region, identifying the causes of non-payment
- daily active communication with world-wide customers
- preparing customer account reconciliations and contributing to the annual reconciliation process
- maintaining customer master data
- supporting Treasury department in the cash allocation process
- supporting of customer claiming issues (quality, logistics, debit notes)
- issuing and distributing invoices managed by the AR Team (e.g. scrapped products, obsolete stock, bonuses, material inflation)
- issuing correction and special invoices based on information received from the sales team, as a result of identified payment differences or by processing customer debit notes
- supporting reporting activities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- college or university degree a relevant field (finance/economics)
- you have 4+ years of experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
- high-level knowledge of SAP
- strong MS Excel
- fluent English
- ability to work effective in a multinational environment
- accuracy, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility
- independence, problem-solving skills, effective communication, proactive mindset and flexibility
