WAREHOUSE TEAM LEAD

IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY

Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely shipment of materials to the manufacturing lines. Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material replenishment from the distribution center or local suppliers, contributing to operational continuity and excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise unloading, receiving, storing, and delivery of raw materials.

  • Lead and manage warehouse personnel, including timekeeping and performance.

  • Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

  • Train and onboard warehouse staff; maintain training records.

  • Develop and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and area audits.

  • Maintain perpetual inventory accuracy, coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories.

  • Solve discrepancies and implement corrective actions to avoid material obsolescence.

  • Apply FIFO methodology to maintain organization and inventory integrity.

  • Communicate with related departments for material planning and replenishment from Del Rio warehouse.

  • Support and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Develop and update standard work instructions for warehouse operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and team supervision.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Basic understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

  • Strong skills in decision-making, planning, prioritization, and effective communication.

  • English and Spanish proficiency required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP system knowledge.

  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination.

  • Formal training in warehouse management systems.
