FUNCTIONAL SAFETY ENGINEER

What You'll Do:

• You will be responsible for all Functional Safety related aspects of various Gentherm products and projects and be the competent contact person for internal team members and external customers,
• You will focus on the planning, coordination and execution of development activities regarding functional safety along the entire product development process,
• You will be responsible for the creation of functional and technical safety concepts as well as the classification/review of safety levels (ASIL) and goals,
• You will moderate and execute qualitative and quantitative safety analyses,
• You will work in a sparkling international environment with cross-functional teams including developers, testers & quality assurance engineers to ensure seamless integration.

What You'll Bring:

• You have a degree in Engineering on BSc or Msc level (Electrical/Software/Hardware),
• You have at least 3 years of experience in managing functional safety requirements in the automotive industry,
• You have at least a basic understanding of system level product development,
• You have an advanced understanding of ISO 26262:2018 standard,
• You have great documentation and communication skills,
• Your English language skills are conversational, you will use them daily.
