SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER

What You'll Do

• Elicit, analyze, and document software requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of business and technical needs,
• Define and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability from concept to implementation and validation,
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software developers, testers, and UX/UI designers, to ensure accurate and complete requirements,
• Create detailed functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams to guide development and testing,
• Support testing teams by defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases, and participating.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Software Engineering (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of experience in the automotive applications)  
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in requirements management tools (e.g. Doors, Polarion, Jira).
• Familiarity with defect management processes and tools.
